Governor Greg Abbott today announced the 2023 statewide Governor’s Small Business Summit. Hosted in 15 different cities across the state, the Governor’s Small Business Summit aims to help Texas small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs reach new heights by connecting them to the resources and information necessary to start, empower and necessary to grow a business.
“Small businesses are at the heart of our powerful Texas economy,” Gov. Abbott said. “More than 95 percent of Texas businesses are small and employ nearly half of all working Texans. From our large city centers to our smaller rural communities, the state of Texas is focused on developing an environment where entrepreneurs have the freedom to strive, grow and thrive. I look forward to continuing to work with small businesses across the state to ensure they have the tools they need to thrive for an even brighter Texas tomorrow.”
The Governor’s Small Business Summit features a variety of sessions that bring local, state, and federal resource partners together to provide key insights into critical business issues. The summit also offers attendees the opportunity to network with other business owners and meet experts who provide timely, relevant and actionable advice on a variety of small business topics.
