Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon Special Research Story

What a strange coloring. Is it an aberration, or -?

Ah. You come at an opportune time, Pokémon Trainer. May I ask for your insight?

Zigzachs are plentiful today, but they are quite different from those I’ve observed before.

The zigzag’s fur is usually an earthy color, but these zigzags are black and white.

Can you explain that?

I see… These Zigzachs were first discovered in the Galar region.

So a single species of Pokémon can evolve differently depending on where it lives? Fascinating.

I will spend today observing these Galarian Zigzachs. Can you help me Pokemon Trainer?

How energetic these Galarian Zigzachs are. Have you also observed how they whiz in a zigzag pattern?

I hypothesized that this might increase his ability to dodge – but testing it out myself got pretty dizzy.

Don’t fret, Pokémon Trainers—no humans or Pokémon were harmed during my experiment.

I wonder if evolution would facilitate or encourage the frantic movements of Galar Zigzachs. Maybe we can find that answer together.

Thanks for your help, Pokémon Trainer.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Galarian Linoone’s disposition is no more sedate than Galarian Zigzach’s. In fact, his aggression seems to have increased.

Just before you arrived, I observed a group of Galarian Linoons using their long tongues to taunt other Pokémon.

Then they pounced on their enraged enemies.

I’m always fascinated by how Pokémon interact with each other.

Could Galarian Linoone itself be capable of evolution? Further research is required.

Greetings, Pokémon Trainers. You brought me… Obstagoon, didn’t you?

Unlike Galarian Linoone, Obstagoon stands on two legs. I suspect this is to take a threatening stance.

Additionally, I’ve witnessed firsthand its ability to create breathtaking vocal outbursts.

My heart has yet to return to its normal rhythm.

I find it remarkable that the assertive Obstagoon was once a tiny Galarian zigzag.

How must it feel to experience such a profound transformation? I assume your Professor Willow would have some insight.

This was a valuable learning experience. Thank you for your help today, Pokémon Trainers.

Some of the quests include evolving Galarian Zigzagoon, evolving Galarian Linoone, and taking snapshots of Galarian Zigzagoon. The tasks seem easy to complete, so once we have the full list of all the tasks and rewards, you’ll be the first to know.
