The Rialto Theater Center released its 2022/23 program with 12 performances by national and international acts sure to have something for everyone.
The season begins on Friday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. with Jarabe Mexicano. The band takes the audience through history with a variety of Mexican folk songs, Tex-Mex, Latin rock and more. The band uses folk stringed instruments as well as percussion pieces to punctuate Jarabe’s dramatic vocals, which are sung in Spanish and English. Tickets for Jarabe Mexicano are $39 per person and $54 per person for VIP.
Comedian Jeff Allen takes the stage at the historic theater on Saturday, September 24 at 7:30pm. Allen’s humor focuses on marriage and family and makes viewers of all ages laugh. Allen has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, Huckabee, Dry Bar Comedy, and other shows. Tickets for Allen are $32 per person and $45 per person for VIP.
Moody Blues fans will be delighted when Go Now! The music of the Moody Blues comes to town on Saturday, October 8th at 7:30pm. The band was formed by drummer Gordy Marshall, who toured with the band as a session musician for over 25 years. Marshall combines his skills as a drummer with 10cc vocalist Mick Wilson to bring viewers one of the finest tributes to the legendary classic rock band. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIP.
Martha Redbone, an African-American singer, songwriter and educator, will perform on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. Redbone inherited her powerful singing skills from her father to provide an American roots music experience for audiences of all ages. Redbone shares her life experiences as a Native American and Black woman through song and storytelling. Tickets are $39 per person or $54 per person for VIP.
AJ Croce, son of Jim Croce, will join his father’s repertoire on Friday, November 4th at 7:30pm with Croce Plays Croce Honoring His Father. Croce will perform some of his original pieces as well as his father’s songs and musical arrangements, which influenced both. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIP.
Illusionist Rob Lake will perform at the theater on Sunday November 6th at 7:30pm in a dazzling show for all ages. Lake has performed to capacity audiences in arenas, theaters and casinos around the world and has been named the “World’s Greatest Illusionist” by NBC for his award-winning illusion show. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIP.
Grammy-nominated songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman will thrill audiences with his A Very Merry Christmas tour on Monday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. The evening celebrates music, love and family with holiday favorites and original tracks like The Gift, Sending You a Little Christmas, Angel Eyes and more. All ages are welcome to attend the concert and tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIP.
The Hazel Miller Band will take the Rialto stage on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30pm to present audiences of all ages with a variety of traditional religious Christmas carols, secular seasonal favorites and current holiday hits. The band puts a new spin on familiar Christmas music with new styles, genres and influences. Tickets are $39 per person and $54 per person for VIP.
Start the new year off right by attending Classic Albums Live – Let It Be at 7:30pm on Friday 20th January. The band takes classic albums and plays them live to audiences of all ages. This concert is a tribute to The Beatles and their 12th studio album Let It Be. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIP.
The Petty Nicks Experience returns to the Rialto Theater on Saturday February 4th at 7:30pm with tributes to Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks. While Nicks and Petty had a few hits together, Nicks never joined the band permanently. The Petty Nicks Experience brings the “what if” question to reality through an experience like no other. All ages are invited to experience the theater concert with hits like “American Girl”, “Runnin’ Down a Dream”, “Edge of 17”, “Landslide”, “Go Your Own Way” and many more. Tickets are $39 per person and $54 per person for VIP.
On Saturday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m., the season takes viewers from classic rock to the sounds of doo-wop with The Doo Wop Project. The group consists of talented Broadway stars from hit shows like Jersey Boys, Motown: The Musical and A Bronx Tale to flood theaters with the classic sounds of the ’40s and ’50s. Tickets are $45 per person or $60 per person for VIP.
The Rialto ends its season with Altan on Friday March 10 at 7:30 p.m. Hailing from Donegal, Ireland, the band will bring the rich cultural music of the region to Loveland audiences of all ages.
Season ticket packages are available for sale, offering theater fans the opportunity to customize their shows at discounted prices. The more show fans choose, the bigger the discount.
Fans who choose all 12 shows will receive a 25% discount, while 11 shows will receive a 20% discount and 10 shows will receive a 18% discount. People who choose nine shows get a 16% discount and eight shows get a 14% discount.
People can also upgrade their ticket packages to the VIP selection, which includes seats in the first two rows of the theater and a discount or cash voucher.
