When Hamilton began COVID-19 immunization programs, we track every dose administered.
Hamiltonnews.com will release Hamilton public health data as it becomes available. Here’s what we know:
Hamilton’s COVID vaccination sites
Hamilton Public Health has been administering doses of the vaccine through a mobile clinic since January 10, 2021 and an inpatient clinic at Hamilton Health Sciences since December 23, 2020. Doses of the vaccine are also being administered through a Department of Health mobile clinic and stationary clinics at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, First Ontario Centre. ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Lime Ridge Mall and The Center on Barton, as well as general practitioner and pharmacy clinics.
Vaccine doses being administered through Hamilton’s mobile public health clinic
127,874 doses of vaccine were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through Ministry of Health mobile clinic
15,305 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through an inpatient clinic at Hamilton Health Sciences
177,030 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through an inpatient clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare
184,717 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through an inpatient clinic at First Ontario Center
179,680 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered via an inpatient clinic at ArcelorMittal Dofasco
17,577 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through an inpatient clinic at Lime Ridge Mall
67,845 doses were administered.
Vaccine doses administered through a permanent clinic at the Center on Barton
65,587 doses were administered.

328,502 doses were administered.

The graph lists the most up-to-date information on doses administered in Hamilton to date, with figures from the Hamilton Public Health Mobile Clinic, Ministry of Health Mobile Clinic, inpatient clinic at Hamilton Health Sciences and inpatient clinics at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, First Ontario Centre, ArcelorMittal DofascoLime Ridge Mall and The Center on Barton as primary care and pharmacy clinics for a total of 1,267,175. The doses administered may include medical personnel who work in Hamilton but do not live here.

The bar chart above shows the most recent number of vaccine doses administered in Hamilton and compares it to the regional population.
The immunization data used in the bar chart is manually compiled and regularly updated by each Ontario public health entity.
Because the vaccine generally requires two separate doses, the number of doses given does not reflect the number of people who have completed vaccination.
