Series history… On Friday, Oklahoma State meets Tulsa for the 114th time in a series that dates back to 1908. The Cowboys have a 74-39 lead in the series, including wins in two of the last three. The Golden Hurricane won the last meeting of 2018.

Five things to know…

  1. Oklahoma State comes in third place Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship last weekend. The Cowboys split their two games at the event, losing 60-56 in overtime to UCF last Friday before hitting back with an 82-78 win over DePaul. The win put Oklahoma State back above .500 for the season.
  2. Tulsa has lost back-to-back games after a 2-1 start to the season. The Golden Hurricane is 0-1 against top-flight opponents this season, losing 73-70 to Oregon State in the opener.
  3. Both Oklahoma State and Tulsa are a combined 2-7-1 against the spread this season. The Cowboys are 1-4 while the Golden Hurricane is 1-3-1.
  4. Tickets in the 300 section of the Gallagher-Iba Arena are $1. Fans are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to the annual toy drive.
  5. Friday night’s game against Tulsa is a “blackout,” meaning fans are encouraged to wear Oklahoma State black attire. Even the cowboys wear black uniforms.
