First clip of Sarah Snook thriller released – The Hollywood Reporter

The first trailer for Netflix’s horror thriller run rabbit runmain role successor Star Sarah Snook, has fallen.

The clip shows the strained relationship between a mother (Snook) and her daughter (Lily LaTorre) when the latter starts acting strangely. The film also stars Damon Herriman, Greta Scacchi and Trevor Jamieson.

Filmed in Melbourne, run rabbit run It is directed by Australian filmmaker Daina Reid, best known for her episodes in the television series The Shining Girls And The story of the maidwith a screenplay by Hannah Kent.

The Hollywood Reporter‘s review described run rabbit run as “moody and atmospheric” and that it “easily builds tension and anxiety”.

The feature premiered at Sundance this year as part of the festival’s horror-centric Midnight selection. Netflix acquired the global rights, apart from a few territories where deals have already been closed.

Funded by indie studio XYZ Films run rabbit run with ScreenAustralia. Snook also served as executive producer alongside XYZ’s Nate Bolotin, Maxime Cottray, Nick Spicer and Aram Tertzakian, Storyd Group’s Deanne Weir and Olivia Humphrey, Jack Christian, DJ McPherson, Daina Reid, Jake Carter and Katie Anderson.

run rabbit run debuts June 28 on Netflix.
