Here’s how our experienced analysts rated Australian crypto trading platforms to pick the 2023 winner.
selection criterion
We conducted a comprehensive review of the cryptocurrency market in Australia in late 2022.
We have attempted to include all platforms registered to operate in Australia provided they meet the requirements set out by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (AUSTRAC) to serve Australian residents. We then refined this list by applying Finder’s due diligence procedures.
The result was 25 cryptocurrency exchanges and brokers, which were then measured using 61 individual criteria.
The “Best Crypto Trading Platform – Overall” award went to the product that had the highest overall score across all 61 criteria.
All other categories were evaluated with different combinations of criteria and weightings depending on the category. For example, the Value Award weighted scores higher based on fee data and omitted criteria related to advanced trading products.

2023 marks the second year in a row that Finder’s Crypto Trading Platform Awards will be presented.
