Multan Sultans (MS) will take on Lahore Qalandars (LAH) in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final on Saturday (18 March). The game will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and will start at 19:30 IST.
Led by Mohammad Rizwan, the Multan Sultans are unbeaten in their last two games. They defeated Lahore Qalandars in the qualifiers which helped them qualify directly for the finals. In their previous game, Kieron Pollard played a great inning and was named Player of the Game. MS will be confident in the final as they have beaten Lahore earlier in the playoffs. Shahnawaz Dahani will join the squad after suffering an injury ahead of their first game of PSL 2023.
On the other hand, Shaheen Afridis Lahore Qalandars will seek revenge against the Multan Sultans. They lost in qualifier to Multan by 84 runs and then played Eliminator 2. They come into this game after beating Peshawar Zalmi by four wickets. Lahore took first place in the PSL 2023 standings with 14 points.
