Fans are excited about the trailer of Stephanie Hsu star “Joy Ride”.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lionsgate is gearing up to bring joy to people this summer with its upcoming raunchy comedy Joy Ride. The film is directed by Adele Lim, who co-wrote the hit “Crazy Rich Asians.” Lim wrote the film with Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and Teresa Hsiao. The comedy follows the story of two childhood best friends, Audrey and Lolo, as they embark on a journey to Asia to find the former’s biological mother.

The film stars Oscar-nominated All at Once star Stephanie Hsu as Kat, Ashley Park as Audrey, Sherry Cola as Lolo, David Denman as Joe Sullivan, Annie Mumolo as Mary Sullivan and Desmond Chiam as Clarence. The film also stars Sabrina Wu, Ronny Chieng, Lori Tan Chinn, David Denman, Annie Mumolo, Alexander Hodge and Chris Pang.

The official synopsis of ‘Joy Ride’ reads: “A hilarious and unmistakably explicit tale of identity and self-discovery follows four unlikely friends as they embark on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure. When Audrey (Ashley Park) goes sideways on a business trip to Asia, she enlists the help of Lolo (Sherry Cola), her irreverent childhood best friend who also happens to be a hot mess; Kat (Stephanie Hsu), her college friend turned Chinese soap star; and Deadeye (Sabrina Wu), Lolo’s eccentric cousin.
