Movie Synopsis

Fall sequel in the works now that the film is an international hit on Netflix

Thriller directed by Scott Mann fallin Grace Caroline Currey (Shazam!: Wrath of the Gods) and Virginia Gardner (Halloween 2018) as two characters stuck at the top of a 2000-foot radio tower was released theatrically, but it wasn’t really a breakthrough. It grossed $21 million worldwide on a budget of $3 million. More viewers were checking it out on Amazon, buying it on Blu-ray or DVD (order it HERE), or checking it out on Starz or Netflix… and now Deadline has revealed that fall was so successful on Netflix that a sequel is now in the works! The film has charted in the Netflix top 10 in 4 different regions and has been the second most viewed film in the UK for the past two weeks.

Mann and Tea Shop Productions producers and director Scott Mann are currently working on ideas for the fall Continuation, “which will unsettle the audience with another terrifying high-altitude story.

Producer James Harris had this to say: “We were pleasantly surprised at how everyone had such a visceral response to (fall). It’s one of those movies where word of mouth really helps.

Producer Mark Lane added: “It’s an easy thing for people to learn on a streamer. You can see the concept in the poster image and we find that when people try it, they get hooked instantly.

Continuing, Harris said: “We have a few ideas to throw around… We don’t want to make anything that feels like a copycat or less than the first.

It’s not certain Currey will be involved in this fall Continuing but bringing her character back is one of the options on the table. Harris and Lane hope to “get moving” with the film later this year.

Written by Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank, fall had the following summary: For best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about conquering fears and pushing boundaries. But after climbing 2,000 feet to the top of a remote, abandoned radio tower, they find themselves with no way down. Now, Becky and Hunter’s expert climbing skills are put to the ultimate test as they desperately struggle to survive the elements, shortage of supplies and dizzying heights.

Currey and Gardner were joined in the cast by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (the Walking Dead) and Mason Gooding (Scream 2022).
