FACETS presents encore personal screenings of Everything everywhere at once (June 4-5), memories (June 18-19) and occurrence (June 25-26) along with special film series running throughout the month.

The screenings will take place on FACETS (1517 W. Fullerton).

Tickets can be purchased in advance via FACETS Website and cost $12/General Admission and $10/FACETS members.

The latest film from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as Daniels, Everything everywhere at once (USA, 2021, 139 minutes) starring legendary actress Michelle Yeoh as she delivers an amazing performance in this hilarious and ambitious sci-fi action-adventure that delivers exactly what the title promises. It will show on Saturday 4th June at 3pm, 5.30pm and 8pm and on Sunday 5th June at 1pm, 3.30pm and 6pm.

Memories – 18th-19th June 2022:
Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Palme d’Or Nominee memories (Colombia/Thailand/France/Germany/Mexico/Qatar/UK/China/Switzerland, 2021, 136 min.) follows Jessica (Tilda Swinton) who can’t sleep after being startled by a loud “bang” at dawn. It will show on Saturday 18 June at 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm and on Sunday 19 June at 1pm, 3:30pm, 6pm.

Happening – 25th-26th June 2022:
Audrey Diwan’s unflinching second feature film, occurrence (France, 2021, 100 min.), a deserving winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, is a powerful and compelling drama set in a society that condemns female desire and sexual freedom. It will show on Saturday 25 June at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm and on Sunday 26 June at 3:30pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm.

JUNE FILM SERIESthis june, FACETS will also host ADIFF Chicago Film Series 2022 from June 10th to 12th with 10 films from 10 countries and 9 US premieres. From June 3rd to 30th, FACETS will highlight the work of 3 anime legends in their anime writers film series. At the end of the program month on June 24th FACETS explores the battle royale subgenre Cinema Deathmatch: Round One. Tickets are $12 / General Admission and $10 /FACETS members.
