DC’s Flash gets a big seal of approval from Hollywood legend Tom Cruise, “It’s the kind of movie…”
After taking over the DCU, James Gunn and Peter Safran are under the fandom’s radar. However, they received a major seal of approval from legendary Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. The Impossible Mission actor watched the dc movie, The Lightning before its release and was overwhelmed by it. He gave the film a big compliment.
June 16, 2023, is the day the film hits theaters. Meanwhile, Tom Cruise couldn’t wait to see it. As The Hollywood Reporter pointed out, the actor asked Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav to see the film. The studio shipped the film to Cruise’s Beverly Hills home. After seeing the film, the man who brought him the film took it back. But Cruise couldn’t get over it. He immediately called Andrés Muschietti and praised the film while sharing his overwhelming feelings.
He said the upcoming DC movie has everything it takes. “This is the kind of film we need now” said the 60-year-old actor. Getting a huge compliment like this from the Hollywood mogul could be a lucky charm for the film. Although the film still needs a while to hit the big screens, fans are also excited to see what the film has in store for them.

What is The Flash about that Tom Cruise just gave a huge compliment on?
Recently the top gun Actor turned out to be the savior of cinema and theater. Given his love of action and suspenseful movies, The Lightning Has everything. It’s playing Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash alongside Ron Livingston, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons and Sasha Calle.
Interestingly, the film also brought back Michael Keaton’s Batman. The film will see worlds collide as Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time. He wants to change past events. However, when he tries to save his family, it inadvertently changes the future. Now he’s trapped in a reality where General Zod is back and threatening annihilation. Since there are no other superheroes, he tries to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and save an imprisoned Kryptonian, though not the one he’s looking for.
