Police in New York City intervened again on Monday, March 8th.
Footage shot by Ben Von Klemperer shows a group of people protesting on the platform of the Broadway-Lafayette subway station.
Another video by Von Klemperer shows the demonstrators on the street near the train station clashing with the police. At least two people are seen being held by officers with their hands behind their backs. A man is pinned to the ground and handcuffed.
Neely was put in a chokehold for several minutes by another passenger on the train on May 1. The other passenger was identified Friday as former US Marine Daniel Penny.
