The Necessities of Life (Canada, 2008, 102 minutes) – In 1952, an Inuit hunter named Tivii with tuberculosis leaves his northern home and his family to recover in a sanatorium in Quebec City – uprooted, far from his Loving, unable to speak French and facing a completely alien world. (In Inuktitut, French, Latin and English with English subtitles).

“Believe in Me” (USA, 2006, Length: 131 minutes) – In a conservative small town, a young man’s desire to become a high school basketball coach is shattered by a school board decision that makes him the new coach of the girls’ team. (In English).
