Christina Applegate says she’s done acting in front of a camera after graduation dead to me amid her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
The Emmy-winning star was open about filming the final season of the Netflix dramedy alongside Linda Cardellini when she hinted she would no longer act in front of a lens.
“Ping-pong is so much more fun when the other person is as good as you are. I probably won’t be working in front of the camera again, but I’m so glad I dated someone who is by far the greatest actress , who I have ever worked with in my entire life, if not the greatest person I have ever seen. ever known,” Applegate said vanity fair.
Just because Applegate said she was done acting in front of cameras didn’t mean she stopped acting. The Samantha Who? Alum said she’s open to voiceover work.
“I can’t even imagine going on set now. This is a progressive disease. I don’t know if I’m worse. I can do voiceover stuff because I have to support my family and keep my brain working,” she said.
In 2022, it was revealed that an animated series would be based on it Married with children was in progress. As the show progresses, Applegate would provide the voice of the character Kelly Bundy, who originated on the 1987 Fox sitcom.
“I can’t really say much, but all I know is that all four of us are attached to it. It’s not in our hands right now, so we’re just going to wait and see,” Applegate said of the development of the animated series.
Applegate would reunite with her TV family, which included Ed O’Neill as Al, Katey Sagal as Peggy, and David Faustino as Bud.
