Central Michigan at Eastern Michigan live stream, channel, prediction how to watch on CBS Sports Network

The final week of the college football regular season is finally here, and it promises some drama as teams attempt to enter the postseason — or offseason — on a high. As part of the promotion, CBS Sports Network will televise five games from across the country over the course of the weekend.

First up are a couple of Friday showdowns when the action heats up the day after Thanksgiving, with eastern Michigan, central Michigan and the state of Colorado hosting New Mexico. Then on Saturday, the network will broadcast three more games as both Conference USA and Mountain West will be in action.

Florida Atlantic will host western Kentucky at 12 p.m. ET in a high-stakes Conference USA contest to get things moving. Then UAB travels to Louisiana Tech for afternoon bowl eligibility. Finally, the day’s action concludes with the state of San Diego hosting the Air Force in a battle of high profile opponents from Mountain West.

Central Michigan in East Michigan

Storylines: Eastern Michigan can reach eight wins for the first time since 1987 if it finishes the regular season with a win over Central Michigan. The Chippewas fell to 4-7 with a 12-10 loss to Western Michigan last week but may play the role of spoiler this week against an Eagles team enjoying one of its best seasons in program history. CMU has won the last three in the series.

New Mexico in the state of Colorado

Storylines: Both teams want to go into the offseason on a high note as they go into it with identical 2-9 records. Colorado State may end with a win with a 3-5 record in the Mountain West game under first-year coach Jay Norvell. That would mean an improvement for the Rams over the past two seasons. New Mexico has lost eight straight games under third-year coach Danny Gonzales and is on the verge of a winless league game.

Western Kentucky at Florida Atlantic

Storylines: A Conference USA Championship Game spot could be on the line for Western Kentucky with a win and loss in North Texas. On the other hand, Florida Atlantic is fighting for bowl eligibility. The Hilltoppers ended a series of four defeats in the past season with a 52:17 win against FAU.

UAB at Louisiana Tech

Storylines: UAB has won five consecutive seasons since resuming play in the 2017 season after the program was dormant for two seasons. To stand a chance of extending the streak to six, the Blazers must beat Louisiana Tech to finish the regular season 6-6 and earn a bowl invite. The Bulldogs are only 3-8 under first-year coach Sonny Cumbie but are 3-1 at home this season.

Air Force in the state of San Diego

Storylines: San Diego State has plagued the Air Force with nine straight wins, including six by a touchdown or less. If the Aztecs extend the streak to 10 this week, it even becomes the all-time streak at 19-19. Both teams are already qualified for the bowl and are entering this meeting with three winning streaks. The Aztecs defeated New Mexico 34-10 last week while the Falcons crushed Nevada.
