Disney’s science fiction adventure film crater will premiere on May 12, 2023 on Disney+. The film tells the story of a boy who grew up in a moon mining colony and takes his four best friends on a secret escapade to a crater that his father told him about before he died.

It stars Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Mckenna Grace and Billy Barratt. The film is directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez and written by John Griffin and Rpin Suwannath, with Dan Cohen, Dan Levine and Shawn Levy serving as executive producers.

1) Isaiah Russell-Bailey as Caleb Channing
Isaiah Russell-Bailey stars as Caleb Channing in the Disney film. Caleb’s father bequeaths him knowledge of a legendary crater, and the character is the instigator of the secret plan to visit that crater. He can be seen in the trailer informing others about said crater and formulating a plan to sneak out of the dome where his community lives and steal a rover to reach his goal.
The actor’s performance in the trailer has already received positive reviews from fans and critics alike and promises to be a stunning performance based on the preview.

2) McKenna Grace as Addison
Mckenna Grace plays the role of Addison in the film. The trailer shows Addison joining the group on their adventures, revealing that her character is from Earth, unlike the rest of her group who have lived their entire lives in the dome. So the group treats them a little differently. It will be interesting to see how the film manages to explore her character given this special trait.
The actress is already being dubbed a fan favorite by viewers for her brilliant portrayal of the character in the film’s trailer and her ability to convincingly convey the emotions of childish wonder and excitement.
