It seems like events are all in full swing and we are all here for it!
After 2 years of inactivity, the highly anticipated Le French Film Festival 2022 (LFFF22) returns to Malaysia with great success June 9 to July 17, 2022.
The 20th edition of the LFFF, organized by the Alliance Française, brings to the visitors a multisensory “immersive experience through captivating events with award-winning French films, delicious gastronomy and exquisite culture and more”.
This year’s festival also features a new program called Le Petit Festival program families can look forward to keeping their little ones entertained.
As the largest European film festival in Malaysia, the cultural event takes place 4 cities including: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu with an expected reach of over ten thousand festival enthusiasts.
Here are the details of the festival:
Kuala Lumpur: June 9th – June 26th
Penang: June 30 – July 10
Johor Bahru: July 7th – July 10th
Kota Kinabalu: July 14 – July 17

2. Learn some French words
No, you don’t need to be able to speak French to enjoy the festival. But wouldn’t it be fun to be able to do that recognize and speak a few words here and there? Here are a few words to get you started!

3. Stay up to date!
The event schedule and film screening times have yet to be released, but with less than 3 weeks left until the event begins in Kuala Lumpur, they should be released soon.
