The global crypto market cap is up 1.77 percent to $1.12 trillion as of 8:50 a.m. According to Coinmarketcap data, global crypto volume increased by 71.22 percent to $70.6 billion.
The trading volume in the decentralized finance coin space is about $9.6 billion, or 13.59 percent of the crypto market’s total 24-hour volume. The volume of all stablecoins is $67.37 billion, or about 95.42 percent of the total crypto market volume over the past 24 hours.
As of 8:50 a.m., Bitcoin is up 2.26 percent to $23,779.54 and currently commands a 40.49 percent dominance of the crypto market.
In terms of price analysis, BTC started its upward movement sometime around 11:00 a.m. on August 8 and peaked at $24,203.69 around 5:00 p.m. However, the price could not hold and fell. But its trading volume increased by 80.62 percent to $28,967,092,187.

In terms of price analysis, ETH saw strong support. Although prices dipped slightly into negative territory at 10:00 on August 8 at $1,711, sometime after 1:49 p.m., ETH slowly started to climb higher and kept making new highs over the next two hours. The highest price ETH touched was $1,806.82.
