The global crypto market cap is down 3.93 percent to $1.08 trillion as of 8:50 a.m. According to Coinmarketcap data, global crypto volume fell 5.45 percent to $67.94 billion.
The trading volume in the decentralized finance coin space is about $7.36 billion, or 10.83 percent of the crypto market’s total 24-hour volume. The volume of all stablecoins is $62.79 billion, or about 92.42 percent of the total crypto market volume over the past 24 hours.
Bitcoin (BTC)
From 8.50 a.m., Bitcoin fell 3.94 percent to $22,917.21 and currently commands a 40.48 percent dominance of the crypto market.
In terms of price analysis, the price of BTC started falling around 2:44 p.m. on August 9, making new lows with each passing hour. BTC appears to have recovered somewhat from its 24-hour low this morning, but it is still in the red. The lowest price BTC touched was $22,771.52.
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum price was $1,677.61 this morning, down 5.34 percent.
ETH touched the red zone once around 12:19 p.m. on Aug. 9, but almost immediately rallied to set a new high of $1,786.12. Around 2:44 p.m. (the same time BTC started falling), ETH started its descent. Just like BTC, it hit a new low with every passing hour. The 24-hour low for ETH was $1,665.09
ETH trading volume increased slightly by 1.23 percent to $17,294,919,015.

Solana’s price fell 6.41 percent today to $39.48.
Cardano (ADA) fell 4.51 percent to $0.5071. 24-hour trading volume for ADA fell 28.37 percent to $642,917,979.
Binance (BNB) fell 2.79 percent to $315.23. The 24-hour trading volume rose 0.57 percent to $1,238,028,065.

Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 3.24 percent to $0.06806. The 24-hour trading volume increased by 60.59 percent to $650,396,479.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is down 2.99 percent to $0.00001192.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 3.18 percent to $11,067.28. The 24-hour trading volume rose 7.76 percent to $77,606,015.
Avalanche (AVAX) is down 0.94 percent to $27.72 and its 24-hour trading volume is down 20.16 percent to $794,470,663.
Aave (AAVE) traded down 6.17 percent at $96.61 and its 24-hour trading volume declined 34.09 percent to $232,309,433.
