The Mumbai Indians recorded their sixth victory in the 2023 Indian Premier League when they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by a six-wicket margin in Game 54 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai thanks to first-class innings from Suryakumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhera.
Suryakumar Yadav didn’t have a great start to Indian Premier League 2023 but has played some good innings in the last few games and he has proved his worth by playing a great inning in the MI vs RCB IPL 2023 game. Surya played an inning of 83 runs with just 35 balls, including seven fours and six sixes.

Coming back to the MI v RCB IPL 2023 match, after first batting Bangalore on a bat-friendly wicket at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Royal Challengers did not get off to a great start, losing key batsmen like Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat early in their innings. From here, skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell began leveling Bangalore’s innings, making a 120-run partnership for the third wicket. After their release, no other batsman was able to hit many runs and the visitors finished their first innings 199/6.
The Mumbai Indians got off to a strong start in their pursuit of the goal as Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma added 51 runs for the first wicket but skipper Rohit couldn’t contribute much and was dismissed after Wanindu Hasaranga. Ishan also got out after scoring 42 runs from 21 balls and from here it was Nehal Wadhera and Suryakumar Yadav who completed a 140 run partnership and their team won the match in just 16.3 overs.
