This summer will be a fantastic summer with lots of activities and events.
A summer favorite on the Jersey Shore is movies on the beach.

Some Jersey Shore residents have never experienced a hit in the sand, thinking it was a “touristy” thing.
Not at all.
In most cases, locals outnumber visitors.
It’s really cool to lay out a blanket or set up some beach chairs and watch a movie while the waves lap in the distance.
These film events have grown in popularity over the years and many coastal towns host weekly film nights during the summer months.
Jenkinson in Pt. Pleasant Beach will once again set up the giant inflatable giant screen for a feature presentation on Tuesday evenings starting June 27.
Seaside Heights will also show some blockbusters. Enjoy movies at Freemont Avenue Beach every Sunday beginning July 2nd.
And thanks to Lavallette for putting their own spin on the weekly film series by hosting films about the bay. Movies are shown at the Gazebo on Bay Boulevard and Philadelphia Avenue every Thursday.
Another great coastal town to see beach movies once again is Belmar. On Wednesdays at dusk, 7th Avenue Beach hosts a range of family-friendly movies.
BYOB…bring your own blanket and enjoy some classic and newer movies too.
Be sure before you go. Please check the Belmar Facebook page for updates on movies on the beach. All performances are weather dependent.
