Want to find out what percentage of players you belong to in the Apex Legends ranked distribution? Then you are exactly right here.

Apex Legends introduced the rank system in Season 2: Battlecharge on July 2, 2019. Respawn called it ranked leagues. Back then, ranked mode was only available for the Battle Royale playlist.

Since the inception of the rank system, Respawn has made several changes to it throughout the life of Apex. In addition, millions of new players later regularly joined the game, who are now playing the ranked mode. As such, Respawn introduced additional ranks to maintain the game’s competitive integrity.

Additionally, Apex Legends also introduced ranked arenas on August 3, 2021. So currently there are Battle Royale ranked leagues and arenas in the game. There are 8 in-game ranks for BR ranked leagues. While Arenas Rated has a total of 7 ranks.

Apex Legends ranking distribution

Respawn only releases rank data at the end of each season. So there is no way to collect Respawns data from Battle Royale ranked leagues and arenas before a season is over. However, Apexlegendsstatus, a third-party website, shares Apex-related data based on their API database of 17.5 million players.

While 15.4 million players doesn’t represent Apex Legends’ total population of over 130 million, that’s a huge sample size. As such, Apexlegendsstatus data is the most reliable and accurate at the moment. Also, the website excludes the players who do not have a rank at the time of data generation.
