From India Today Web Desk: It’s a new weekend and that brings us to the time when we can watch new shows. This was a long weekend, with Republic Day celebrations extending the holiday spirit. As Pathaan reigns supreme at the box office and looks like the obvious choice for audiences, here’s a list of every movie and show coming out on OTT in case you’re feeling too lazy to step out.
ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO
The king’s speech
The King’s Speech is a British historical drama directed by Tom Hooper and written by David Seidler. The film had a theatrical release in 2010. And now it will premiere on January 27, 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.
forced marriage
Directed by Jason Moore, Shotgun Wedding stars Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel. The official synopsis reads: “A couple’s extravagant wedding is hijacked by criminals. As they save their families, they rediscover why they fell in love in the first place.” It will premiere on January 27, 2023.
Engga hostel
Engga Hostel is an adaptation of Hostel Daze. Set in an engineering home in Tamil Nadu, the show follows the lives of six engineering students and the struggles they face in the hostel.
NETFLIX
Black Sunshine Baby
The documentary follows the life of Aisha Chaudhary, a terminally ill girl who has inspired many. Directed by Nilesh Maniyar, it focuses on her life, parents and family. It will start streaming on January 24th.
An action hero
The action thriller starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat and directed by Anirudh Iyer finally hits OTT on January 27th.

The last of us
A new episode was released on January 23. The post-apocalyptic series is based on the 2013 video game of the same name. The series follows a smuggler who accompanies the teenage girl Ellie through the post-apocalyptic United States.
Saturday night
Four buddies who haven’t seen each other for a long time form the center of the story. By meeting again, they learn the true meaning of friendship. Saturday Night will be released on January 27th.
ZEE5
Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke
Directed by Srijit Mukherji, it is a crime thriller titled Regina Cassandra. Regina plays an IPS officer in the series, which also stars Mita Vasisth and Sumeet Vyas. The series will begin streaming on Zee5 on January 26th.
Ayali
Ayali by director Muthu Kumar is an eight episode series chronicling the life of teenager Tamil Selvi who aspires to be a doctor. But the 500-year tradition of her village does not help her to realize her dream. Will she break the custom?
Surgery Friday
Starring Suniel Shetty and Randeep Hooda, the film will finally see the light of day today. Originally titled Shooter, the film was made 11 years ago in 2012.
ON MX PLAYER
heirs of the night
Erben der Nacht premiered on MX Player on January 25, 2023. Heirs of the Night is set in 1889 and explores a school for vampires where students from different clans learn special powers.
moonlight romance
Moonlight Romance will premiere on MX Player on January 28, 2023. Moonlight Romance, a Taiwanese drama, revolves around an immortal matchmaker, Yue Lao/Li Yue (Edison Song), who descends from heaven to earth in a new role as a divorce attorney.

Revered Iranian author Jafar Panahi’s insightful debut film, The White Balloon is a children’s eye adventure in which a young girl’s quest to buy a goldfish leads her on a journey full of detours through the streets of Tehran on the eve of Iran’s New Year celebrations. The series will be released on January 28th.
Becoming male in the Middle Ages
The upcoming series is a romance drama with speculative undertones, while Pedro Neves Marques’ imaginative LGBTQ short Becoming Male in the Middle Ages serves as thought-provoking work. Mirene and André are a heterosexual couple struggling with infertility issues. Meanwhile, Carl and Vicente are a homosexual couple who undergo an experimental procedure to have a biological child. The series will be released on January 25th.

Shrinking is a 10 part comedy about a grieving therapist who starts breaking the rules and telling clients exactly what’s on their mind. The interesting drama will premiere on January 27th.
