Amber Heard claims Aquaman 2’s role has been hit by allegations of abuse

Amber Heard has claimed her role in The Upcoming Aquaman The sequel was “slimmed” after one of Johnny Depp’s attorneys called the actress’ abuse allegations a “hoax” in an April 2020 statement The Daily Mail. “I fought really hard to stay in the movie,” Heard said. “They didn’t want to put me in the film.” While she was able to maintain her place, it’s “a very stripped down version of that role,” Heard added, explaining that she was given “new versions of the script that had scenes removed, containing the action”. Heard avoided spoilers, but one of the scenes featured “two characters fighting each other, and they basically took a bunch out of my role.” (Vulture has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment.) Heard’s claims about reputational and professional damage came on the third day of her testimony in Depp’s defamation trial against her.
