Australian real estate investor Adrian Portelli has displayed a $2 million Formula 1 racing car in its new multi-million dollar penthouse in Melbourne.

Block’s bidder, known as “Mr. Lambo” shared photos on Instagram on Tuesday of a work team lifting the vehicle to the top floor.

A snap showed Portelli, 34, posing next to the McLaren Senna GTR in his high-rise apartment, with the city’s stunning skyline at his back.

Another showed the workers carefully using a crane to lift the luxury vehicle 57 stories up into Portelli’s apartment.

Portelli, who bought Sharon and Ankurs Block’s home in a post-sale last year, expressed his gratitude to his team of dedicated workers in the caption.

“A first look at the McLaren Senna GTR 57 floors up. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this absolutely surreal moment possible,” he wrote.

Last month, Portelli splashed into the luxury penthouse, breaking a record for the city’s most expensive apartment after paying a staggering $39 million.

He will reportedly use the property as a weekender.

The 34-year-old is a multi-million dollar real estate investor and online advertising guru with an estimated net worth of $350 million.

The businessman told realestate.com.au he decided to buy the flat the same day he saw it because of “security” and because it was a “blank canvas”.

He also admitted that one selling point was the penthouse’s direct connection to the second tower, which will house a five-star Shangri-La hotel.

However, Portelli said that despite its prime location – the twin-tower “Sapphire by the Gardens” development on La Trobe Street in the heart of the CBD – the property will not be his primary residence.

Portelli made headlines last year for ratcheting up the price of the house of Omar and Oz during The Block finale.

He opened the bid with $4.5 million – well above the $4.08 million reserve – and his aggressive style meant eventual buyer Danny Wallis ended up bidding a staggering $5,666,666.66 for the 10-acre, five-bedroom property in Gisborne paid.

He also runs his own promotional and giveaway business, focused on luxury vehicles and prestige homes, and is the owner of the Little Legends Foundation, which provides urgent medical care and experiences for at-risk children.

In 2018 he founded the car enthusiast club LMCT+, which has since grown into Australia’s largest and fastest growing car community
