Acer announced the latest offerings in its green Vero lineup, including the Acer Aspire Vero 15 (AV15-53P) notebook and Acer Vero PL3510ATV laser projector, both designed to provide businesses and consumers with powerful, energy-saving technology while offering more options to reduce the carbon footprint.
The Aspire Vero 15 laptop is powered by 13th generation Intel® core™ Processors with Intel® iris® Xe Graphics designed to let the Intel® Evo™ Laptop can do even more at once. The multiple award-winning Aspire Vero line reduces CO2 Emissions by using Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics in its chassis without sacrificing durability. It also features a 15-inch FHD IPS display, Acer VeroSense™ for battery management and a 1440p QHD webcam that comes with Acer PurifiedView™ and Acer Purified Voice™ collaboration technology.
Acer has also launched the Acer Vero PL3510ATV projector, which comes with Full HD resolution, a 4,800 ANSI lumen diode and a lamp life of 30,000 hours[4] for long-lasting brightness. The laser projector’s low-power design also saves up to 48% more energy compared to lamp-based projectors[2], ultimately reducing total cost of ownership and carbon footprint through extended product life. In line with Acer’s Earthion platform, the latest Vero products incorporate PCR plastic into their housing and use recyclable packaging.

Combining an environmentally conscious design with a range of performance features, the Aspire Vero 15 (AV15-53P) meets the needs of users who require a powerful and attractive looking laptop. It features a 15.6-inch Full HD display, 16:9 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB[4] to meet users’ task-related and entertainment needs on a larger screen space. The Aspire Vero 15 also comes with a 1440p QHD camera that includes Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice with AI Noise Reduction technology for advanced conference calls. For reliable and seamless connectivity, the laptop is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and offers a generous selection of ports, including two Thunderbolt™ 4/USB Type-C, two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, DC-in and an audio jack ensure users stay connected and productive wherever they are. It also comes with up to 16GB of onboard LPDDR5 storage and dual M.2 SSDs supporting up to 1TB of storage.
In Acer’s drive to have an ongoing positive impact on the environment, the Aspire Vero 15 has been carefully engineered to incorporate more recycled materials and further minimize waste by extending the device’s lifespan. Compared to the previous generation of green laptops, the Aspire Vero 15 has increased the percentage of PCR plastic used in the chassis from 30% to 40% and has been successfully manufactured with 30% less CO2 -Emissions in the manufacture of the chassis material while ensuring it stands up to daily wear and tear. Its eye-catching body is paint-free and contains fewer volatile organic compounds, while the keycaps and adapter body are made from 50% PCR materials. Its smooth OceanGlass™ trackpad also contains recycled plastic from the ocean.
To further extend the life of the machine, the laptop uses standardized screws to simplify repairs and recycling at the end of the product’s life. The laptop comes in a multi-purpose, recyclable packaging made from 100% recycled paper and up to 90% recycled cardboard that can be reused as an ergonomic laptop stand. The integrated VeroSense™ Management apps allow users to take control of power consumption and battery life with four power modes to choose from.

Thanks to the included dongle supporting Android TV, the Acer Vero PL3510ATV offers Chromecast compatibility for seamless video streaming and screen mirroring from compatible apps on the source.
