2024 release set, Justin Theroux joins Michael Keaton in the long-awaited sequel – ET Canada

The long-awaited sequel to Beetlejuice now has a release date set for 2024.
With original director Tim Burton at the helm, Michael Keaton will reprise his role as the late “bio-exorcist” from the popular 1988 comedy.
Accordingly meetingProduction is scheduled to begin in London on Wednesday May 10th.

Winona Ryder will return alongside Keaton as Lydia Deetz, with Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) as her daughter.
Also joining the cast is Justin Theroux (currently starring on HBO’s White House Plumbers), whose character is still under wraps.
The plot of the upcoming sequel is also being kept top secret, although it’s likely someone will say Beetlejuice’s name three times to allow him entry into the living world to wreak even more havoc.

Beetlejuice 2 is slated to hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
