KNOXVILLE, TN. — The University of Michigan swim and dive team ranks 24th after finishing 15th in the 200-yard freestyle on the second night of the NCAA Championships (March 16) at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center season has occupied.
The Quartet of Lindsay Flynn, Claire Neuman, Natalie Kan And Brady Kendall a time of 1:28.60 in the 200-yard freestyle relay to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.
In the heats, Katie Crom had the best finish of the day with a 22nd place finish in the 500-yard freestyle and touched the wall in a 4:41.27 tie. In the 200 meter IM Letitia Sim was 34th and Devon Kitchel turned 54
In the last individual event of the day Lindsay Flynn sprinted to 28th with a time of 22.25, while Natalie Kan finished 54th with a time of 22.71.
On the dive side Kiarra Milligan finished 37th in her first appearance at the NCAA Championships with a score of 241.05.
The Wolverines return to the pool on Friday (March 17) to begin Day 3 of the NCAA Championships. Prelims at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center begin at 10:00 am with finals beginning at 6:00 pm
